Volantes Renewables Recruitment launched in 2025 as the renewables division of Volantes Technical Recruitment — a global engineering recruitment group operating since 2020.
The story
Where we came from.
Volantes Technical Recruitment has been placing engineers into aviation and technical engineering roles since 2020. The team behind it carries more than 40 years' combined experience in technical recruitment — hiring for regulated, safety-critical environments where credentials, currency and compliance are not negotiable.
The renewables division was launched in 2025 to apply that same discipline to electrification. EV charging rollouts, grid connection programmes, high voltage works and wind sites all demand verified qualifications, mobile workforces and fast mobilisation — the problems we already knew how to solve.
We operate from two offices — Paisley (head office) and Bournemouth — supplying contract and permanent staff across the UK, Ireland and international projects.

We would rather work a handful of accounts and desks properly than chase every requirement on the market. Repeat business is the measure we care about.
Transparency
Clear rates, clear timelines, clear feedback. If a brief is unrealistic on budget or availability, we say so at the start rather than three weeks in.
Quality over volume
A short, considered shortlist against the brief. No CV spraying and no candidates submitted who have not agreed to the role, rate and location.
Technical understanding
We take the time to understand AP/SAP appointments, ICP delivery models, GWO requirements and commissioning scopes — so screening means something.

Its aviation business supplies licensed engineers, technicians and support staff to MRO and airline operations worldwide; the renewables division covers electrification and energy infrastructure.
Both divisions share the same back office, compliance framework and contractor payroll — so a client hiring across either side deals with one set of processes.
